Default Cash ready for the right CSL

Hi All

Having been lurking on this site for a while, I thought i would join up fully.

I am looking for a SG CSL
Mileage is unimportant, but ideally I would prefer a lower mileage example - say 75k MAX.

Cash is waiting and I am prepared to travel for the right vehicle.
Anyone with an itch to sell, please PM me!

Thanks for listening

Dean

Is funny interesting that CSL prices seem very mileage sensitive so much more than other cars

Interesting you say lower mileage under 75k. What is considered low/average/high mileage now?

Some CSLs out there only have 14k. Some under 30k. Some over 100k. All relative. But prices sellers ask seen to reflect mileage rather than also including condition / # of owners / Service History / Original paint or not etc ....

And some will pretend there never been smashed up when it has .... And this was from a former CSL register membwr

Hello Dean and welcome the home of the CSL.

Always check out 'Cars for Sale' and 'Interesting CSL Links' on the Register, if its out there and for sale it will be in either of those 2 categories.

Mileage is relative, small miles = big money, the smaller the bigger or so it would appear, not sure why this should be but that's just the way it is.
It is after all a car, a mechanical device with moving parts designed and engineered to be driven and not stored.

My personal experience when looking indicated; low miles, invariably = poor service history and were to be avoided. Better in my opinion to buy a car with low owners, mileage almost irrelevant providing it has an impeccable history and warranty in place, which indicates to me that the car has been used and looked after by someone (an enthusiast) that appreciated the car.

Best of luck with the search.

Thanks Guys

I suppose I am both searching and REsearching and understand that low miles is not always best.

Having owned loads of cars over the years, I have never sought one that appears to be so rare - seems to be a sellers market at the moment!

Not when you are looking for one!

It's lonely on the outside...so it is.
