Default what's the view on coloured wheels?

Since i am getting the wheels refurbed on SG body. I am polling the CSLR gang on what they think ?

Red
orange
black
silver
grey
yellow
green
blue

anyone one here with a different coloured refurb wheel? Bear in mind this is a track car, so I don't have to be embarrassed about gaudy colours. Opinions welcome.

My track wheels (with Cups) are metallic black (to hide brake dust) and my road wheels (MPSS) are OEM silver .

I was thinking of this colour for some slicks, as I think it will go well against the SG .

There was another thread about this a while ago I think...he ended up with red wheels for track.

Personally I think a set of wheels in a turquoise/mint colour would look great on an SG CSL. That would be my choice anyway.

I like the Bronze, Daz did it on his Black CSL and it looked well. So much so, I'm thinking of Bronze winter wheels for my F10.

'Verdi Ithaca' gets my vote, should go well on an SG.

If I'm not mistaken the spoiler on Mikes is a Vorsteiner, although a thing of beauty and much interest, unfortunately it's no longer available.

Perhaps it's time for Karbonius to step up to the mark and replicate.

Neil is correct, he actually found the advert and linked it up on the forum and I bought it before I even had a CSL (I still have a few pairs of OE flippers that came with the car).

I have had the car on the speed limiter with this fitted and it is absolutely rock steady (compared with the "floaty" sensation of the standard flippers).

I also personally love the looks, but appreciate it isn't to everyone's taste. However, having experienced the positive aero effects of splitters on my Escort, I was pretty sure it would benefit the CSL and I wasn't wrong .

As an aside, I also believe it helps with the cooling of the car, as when other CSLs / M3s have suffered with the water temps going to the ¾ mark on the same track days, mine has stayed at the half way mark.
