I have a genuine Recaro floor mount with slider provision that I use for my car - if you want to copy the design of it let me know, and I will send you some photos. It allows for height adjustment for the seat and allows it to sit lower than OEM.

I actually had nothing to do last night so knocked up rev-2. The seat mounts lower and further back allowing more use of the slider.
Will take a couple of pics tonight.
