Hi to new members

Hi all,

I've been browsing this forum for about a year or two now and finally registered. I'm from South Africa (Cape Town) and am hoping to purchase one of the (only) 65 E46 CSL's that were brought here very soon.

Just thought I'd prove I'm not a bot by posting Anyway, you guys are very informative and very passionate. I've learned a lot.

I've previously owned an E36 M3 which I sold recently to get a house and a wife etc so currently working my way back to owning/driving something fun again. Hopefully soon.

So hi everyone and I'm happy to be here.

PS: Whenever I'm logged in, posts seem to be displayed last one first. Any way to sort that out. It's quite frustrating having to go to the last page to see the first entry etc?

Don't worry about the caps. I'm not that anal about it. IIRC we won that one so it would have been you buying me a beer . FIFA World cup starts in 3 days. Doubt we're gonna win that, but all these foreign women are truly a sight to behold

Caps are not my strong point, and you would have had to get the beers mate,... as I was out of money ! And I have just remembered that on the first night in Cape Town, you lot run out of beer !! .. same happened in Durban too

Yes the papers did say that you won, but we were right there behind you in second place ! Thankfully I dont do football, cant stand the players or the fans, particularly some of the English Football fan base, who WILL find themselves in bother out there if they get up to the usual antics, you heard it here first ! hopefully it will be a nice multi national peaceful festival. I think that Paul who owns a CSL on here is going out there for some games mmm

LOL yeah I remember that. Quite weired as SAB (South African Bruaries) is one of the largest producers of beer in the world.

To be totally honest with you, I'm not much of a sport buff. Don't really care who wins. As long as you can chill and have a good time watching the game with your mates, that's fine by me.

Surprising that an Englishman wouldd not be fanatical about footie. I've seen some grown Englishmen cry because they could not see 22 grown men chase a leather ball during one of our infamous power outages lol. I could never be that fanatical. It's ridiculous how South Africans support, and know more about English and European football than they do their own.

Speaking of hooliganism, I believe that 10 Argentinian supporters had already been deported this week as they we supposedly planning to disrupt things during the matches. So it seems all good for a good tournament. I think I'd be better off watching from home though

Traffic is going to be a bitch. But hey, it's only 30 days right and hopefully I could indirectly benefit from the "boosted" economy.
