Default Donny pictures

Some decent pics from Donington the other day. Foggy Esses were great fun on the Melbourne Loop. I was using every inch.

The day was great and no noise issues at all for me, so we should be fine in August.

Most lap times in traffic were mid-hi 1min 52 secs. Did a couple of easy low 1min 50's on clearish laps. Nothing there of any real challenge. Had a good dice with a race prepped Boxster but that was when I was short shifting in the pm (heat!!) doing 1min 53's.

Anyone know what a decent CSL time round the GP track is?

Flaunting his rolled arches in front of me!

No noise issues at all shim, it was totally different to the Thursday night when there were loads of black flags. Plus my mate who was black flagged Thursday wasn't on Friday????? Same car

I wasn't on track just picking up those wheels off Ian plus catching up with a few mates.... Well, got pished Thursday

Bit nervous about taking the m on track until it's upto spec - it'd just frustrate me if it wasn't bob on

1:50 is a good time alex I did 1:55 in the focus last time with a bit of room for improvement

My theory at Donny..... if you look like you are driving remotely aggresively and your exhaust is slightly noisy, then you get the black flag. If there are very slow cars on track and you are flying, like I was in the GTR, then it looks like you are driving aggresively. There is definitely an inconsistency there, for sure.

I have noticed, that there is an ever growing number of really slow cars on track days lately. I know sessioned trackdays are frustrating at times, but maybe running different experience/speed level trackdays.

I know its not a race, and that everyone pays the same money, but with the speed differential between some cars, it can make you look aggressive, even when you are not.
