Well that was an interesting day...

Slightly damp...

Too many cars. Was meant to be open pit lane, but they ended up running 15 minute sessions as people were queuing the entire length of the pitlane to get on...

Three (maybe four) red flags in the morning session alone, which by the time everything over ran, was only ever going to be an hour and half.

Weather improved slightly in the afternoon, (i.e. it stopped raining). Temp never got about 6.5 degrees according to the onboard computer. Having looked at the forecast, i didn't take my Cups, just left my PS2s on. Was still spinning up every lap out of Graham Hill Bend.

Overall, great to have driven Brands, but got no idea of the line round the circuit, just spent the day looking for grip! Got video of every lap, so will edit something down and you can see just how not on the line i am...

Think i'll wait for a full GP day next time, the indy circuit's pretty short! (or maybe i'm just used to a 13 mile lap?!)

The problem was that there were so many cars, the marshalls, understandably would only let so many on track at once. Then if you came in, you joined the queue to go back out, which was taking about 15 to 30 minutes from end to entering the track, depending how you timed it.

The weather & stoppages didn't help. Ended up getting about 4 reasonable sessions, but the morning was a bit of a write off as didn't go out for many laps at a time. Lots of cars + slippery as fook + short lap + stoppages

Heard good things about the Lancer Register days, so will give them a go. Had a good Spa day with Javelin this year as well.
