We're done with the Tour now, had to bale on the afternoon's Maisach trip as the kids were getting a bit scratchy.

I've got a few pics of CSLs from the Ring last Sat, will post them in a few days when we get home.

I really enjoyed the trip, never been to the Ring before, and managing a couple of laps in the morning when it was dead quiet was awesome. I was following the maintenance guys for one lap, which was great as they knew all the lines and were still going fast enough in their Opel estate full of kit... Then the drive south was brilliant with some high speed runs between the inevitable roadworks.

A few things I'll remember: The lineup of CSLs outside BMW Welt on Sunday; first lap of the ring; 145 on the speedo on the Autobahn; meeting some great people for the first time; the smell of my clothes after a night in the Pistenklause; the charity dinner on Sun, and unfortunately s.mac's outfit on Friday

We're in Munich one more night, then driving back home via the Black Forest and France, and on the tunnel Friday early PM. Hope the rest of you have a good day in Salzburg and journeys home.

We had MStudio trip this morning and at Maisach this afternoon we had an M line up plus two development engineers from the CSL 12 years ago who still Are working on current projects including the new M4 CSL, which we have on good authority will be a real development in from the M4.

Now weve split with some guys heading home and about 20 cars heading into Salzburg and we are at The Ref Bull Hangar 7 chilling
