I also agree with you, this car looked mint!

No evidence of having harsh track use, not even signs of stone chips.

Just because it has AP's doesn't necessarily mean it's a track weapon only

I must admit I haven't seen the car, but I was told that it had 'evidence of heavy track use' by somebody yesterday who happened to be following the auction and was a fan of the CSLs. I guess it could well just be the AP brakes, not many people would fit them unless they were seriously in to track driving. I assume my car has been on the track previously as it has them, I won't change them though as they are great

That's what 8 hours of detailer preparation does for you the week before the auction.

On closer inspection the car was not mint. Had two rust bubbles on near side rear arch, couple of very small dents, some stonechips on the front, chips in windscreen (albeit small) and front splitters seemed to be damaged or did not fit properly.

Don't get me wrong, wasn't bad, looked like a honest car that as someone says had an 8hr detail. I would say for mileage condition was average once you strip away the polish.

Wonder if it is sold yet.

Haha they arent dropping

A car with gaps in service history, which is tidy but not mint, with very little paperwork, Unknown mechanically with 61k reaches £47k with fees. I think that's bloody expensive. Mine is same miles with much better history, BMW warranty and boot floor done. Must be worth £50k!
