Who knows. Take a guess. Its certainly a gamble.

I reckon a cheap house right now for 35k will be a better investment.

The CSL might rise slightly in value, but the house will too. But a 35k house will get you £350 a month too

Where can you get a 35k house lawsy with 12% yield? That's defo better than in the bank.

I bought a house for 35k. I was going to rent it for £375 a month. Never did, didnt have time for tenants at that time.

Sold it 18 months later for £47k.

Plenty of cheap houses/flats about at the minute, in poor areas. Its just whether you are savvy enough to put up with poor tenants or not.

I used to collect debt from bad tenants for a few people who did'nt like getting there hands dirty, so it wouldnt bother me, whearas others would only go the "legal" route.

Depends if you can be bothered.

Probably purchase price today minus cost of carry

And the guilt of having never really driven it as intended

Nothing near me for 35k & I hate scum bags so I couldn't deal with the hassle... you are right tho...

We lease my wifes hair/beauty salon so went down the road of buying that but expensive damp issues put a damp'ner on that (excuse the pun)

The legal ruote sucks, I just chuck them out if no payment, only had to do it once so far, wish there was some cheap property near me would get a couple more places.
