Default AP Pads & Rotors

Just wondering where you guys buy your stuff?
I have been quoted £268 for Pagid RS29's
And £490 for AP rotors

Does this sound about right? This is for fronts

What's the difference in those RS29's? Does it depend on the caliper? Mine are 5575's. Or does it mean front/rear?

What would you recommend, AP discs or PF? I have PF on the car at the moment, and they have looked worn for the past 6 months but been absolutely fine! So I have no problem with them, but very little price difference of PF vs AP so what's best?

And questmead says trade only? Or can you just ring them

E8018 are fronts for CP5575
E1903 are fronts for CP5555 (thicker by 1mm)
E1265 are rears

IVe run both AP and PF discs and noticed a marginal life improvement on PF. AP discs do hairline crack early but cointinue to perform. Either imho.

Questmead will serve public.

Graham, had a cheeky feel of your PF discs yesterday, oi oi! and they are the same as mine.

Good till you cannot feel the groove. Probably got 4-6 TD days left.

Ive got RS29 yellows on mine and have great bite.

mine always go first on the cracks. When the cracks widen and spread to the disc edge, then they open up and make a clicking noise when you brake.

Most important is to check the inside disc face where you cant see it.

I belkeive that the overall wear is only meant to be 2mm over the whole thickness of the vented disc
