My local specialist commented that it must of been substantial to do that damage in the rear quarter.
I suspect a track day crash of some kind , and not being able to claim off insurance, or mabe this could have done properly to bmw bodywork warranty standards, how many others out there ???? I’ve personally spoken to a bmw tec sometime back that totally replaced a new body shell on a csl, but guess that’s a bonus..

Chad, I think this a one off. Most people on here can afford to fix their cars / take out some form of track day insurance.

I would never trust this car till it had been properly stripped down and inspected. And if going to such lengths, you might as well put a new shell on the thing if you can find one.

For me, this car just sits in 'no man's land'. Too expensive to break for parts. A small fortune to repair, and a blighted owner history which is too well known by everyone to ever get full value. Sounds like my sister-in-law...

Default It’s gone!!

Looked on the BCA website and it’s been taken off!! Was up within the last two days! Wonder if it’s been taken of as they have recently found out it’s been badly damaged!!

Am glad I saw this post few weeks ago when the car came up on the BCA website as me and my brother thought about buying it! Thought we couldn’t go wrong with a one owner car! How wrong we could of been.. but cheers saved our bacon!!
