KarbonKid supplied mine, have a set of carbon and a set of brushed ally ones ..

Any photos of these paddles ?

Do they have a better feel than OEM ones or not ?

It's subjective Alex.

They have a bigger area so are more easily reached IMO. Especially full on attack.

But the standard paddle has a more ergonomic feel at the back.

Only wsy is to try, and they always fetch decent money 2nd hand. So worth a punt to see if you like them.

They look nice too!

He Alex,

A few months ago i bought carbon pedals (from Carbonfiber Dynamics 79euro) because i like the looks of it.
I fitted them and drove a day with them, the looks are good but the delay in them is 2mm or so before the react totally rubbish,I need a paddle reacts direct like the oem ones (I immediately fitted the oem back)

(I hope you know what i mean.)

Surley you just need to bond a tiny square of plastic on to the peg of the carbon paddel where it makes contact with the switch. Wrapping / shimming with aluminum tape is also good as you can go in 0.1mm steps an fine tune the gap.

...2mm sounds pretty big though, are you sure the switches are seated correctly?

If your ebay-ing, just be careful which ones you go for. I bought the aluminium ones (seemed decent) for my previous M3, and when I got round to installing, the insert tab was wrongly positioned. Ending up filing them down to fit. Then, with all my fiddling, one switch cover came loose, so had to remove the airbag .

Once fitted they did look the part with the aluminium trim interior but felt bulky and not as solid as the OEM (probably on account of my my handy work). Personally, I would stick with OEM.

On the m3Cutters website there is a site Sponsor who has just created some bespoke Paddles for the E46. Heard good reviews about them however not had a chance to purchase a set as of yet.
