Sensible head says buy a set of Super Sports and travel to and from in them and take the Cups for use on track if it is dry.

Pip
I have travelled to and from 60 track days on Cups. Only once have I had to hide under a bridge in Belgium when it rained so hard I thought the CF roof was gonna dent and my Cups were worse than slicks.

Only once have I been terrified on Cups, in 2010 in DuncanRs car just landed in Folkestone and he was driving white lines, bald cups, 100+ on the phone.......shat myself!

Have to agree with Shim on this. Cups in rain have hardly ever been an issue. Drive to suit conditions and available grip and start smiling when/if the track dries.
