Default M3 cs

I'm slightly suprised at the lack of interest around the M4 CS, I have recently driven one (With carbon ceramic brakes) and I have to say it is a fantastic car. I was suprised just how different it was to drive compared to a Competition Pack car, perhaps this wasn't emphasised enough?

With the imminent arrival of the M3 CS, and being restricted to only 100 UK units, is anybody tempted with this?

Personally I prefer the M3 over the M4, and as we seen with limited run cars before this could also be a great investment opportunity as well as the chance to own a brilliant car.

They got you on sales as well now mate ?

As we discussed, I think they’re mega and I love the blue one you have in....I guess just more choice at the price point means less buyers. And agreed, perhaps not enough made by BMW on the step from CP>CS....shoot the marketeers !

Never gave it a second glance. Nothing in the BMW range rocks my boat anymore. I'm not interested in sat nav, heated seats, HUD, etc., which no doubt it is fitted with. The only make that gets my attention for a bit of fun is Lotus.

I've had a deposit down for two years on a M2 csl, but I'm giving up hope.

Had a look at the cs m4 in that stunning blue ,at Williams stockport the other day. Think it was £91 k. Looked stunning plenty of carbon etc. If I’d never had the csl probably love the cs . But after owning the csl the pure rawness has gone from most cars now, almost think I’d rather have the lads car now no air con etc, just me and the motor to enjoy the cars now , no driver aids etc me four wheels and an awesome engine, Ok yes it’s a second quicker 0-60, ...But I’m just not desperate to own one, I bought the csl because I just loved the way it looked, then drove the thing and was hooked and still am,, Just not getting that now with any other bmw ...

Yep.

They will only get heavier and nothing naturally aspirated ever again.

Nothing beats the looks of the CSL.

I'm afraid to say emmisions control has put pay to naturally aspirated engines. At least we're all doing our bit for the planet

Fair to say theres an element of supply and demand with regards to the technolgy in cars now, although as Trawler says a stripped down version alongside may go a long way to tempting purists into the new generation of BMW's.
