Guys (and girls?), need some help.

Everytime I take the CSL out for a long drive (multiple hours), it feels like someone is sticking a knife in my neck and twisting it around a bit. Hence I need to fiddle a bit with the seat to set it up differently (more straight up presumably). Does anyone have experience with that - how easy is it? Do's/Don't's?

Further I'm considering lower the seat as well. I'm quite a tall chap and it will certainly help in oversteery situations, my knees tend to get in the way (have the same problem in the GT3RS which is already getting sorted).
Does anyone have any tips / experience with that as well? Do the standard brackets allow for lowering or should I get custom brackets somewhere on the interwebs?

I had a CSL seat for 2 years and 25k miles. Was very comfy and I'm not a small chap.

Only issues were mainly on track where my shoulders and hips did not really sit in the seat enough.

Swapped to a Recaro Profi SPg XL, more room, lower (way low if you don't put the runner in) and so comfy on track and long journeys.

I'm fairly tall and have loads of room on the lowest settings

I'm a bit over 6,5ft - perhaps I need to check the brackets, maybe the seat is not yet in the lowest setting possible. it's just a bit too cramped with my knes when a lot of steering input is needed in oversteery situations.

I'm 6'8 and have plenty of knee room in the CSL on the lower settings, so worth checking again

My E30 is a bit of a tighter squeeze though, so just as well they're not very tail-happy
