Dates For CSL ring trip 2

Thanks Daz delighted to hear we're so close to firming up dates.

I would prefer June as I will more than likely be in the UK that month July I'm not so sure but I should be able to fly back at a push.

When would you like the deposit? Are we looking at staying at Sabines family hotel? Newbie to the ring God I can't wait! I think I'll have to get over for a practise session before the whole group though!!

No worries, yes planning to stay at the Schmits ! and reserve the Pistenklause (famous restaurant) for the same time.

Will let you know about deposits , once the dates are firmed and we have all agreed.

Then I will sort / book ... we can then look at the crossings and ensure we all try and book the same ones

Right looks like July is Fav , and the dates are out now , so here is July listed below :

Only 3 days its open ALL day through July , Sunday's : 5th , 19th , 26th, the 26th is not so good as its not open at all on the 25th , and 27th is only 17.15 - 19.30, so its looking like the two weekends we need to decide upon are 5th or 19th , as all mid weeks are rubbish times , only open a couple hours in the eve etc :

Suggesting two night stay :

Either go out Friday 3rd , get there for Mid PM track opens friday eve 17.15 for a few cheeky laps , Sat 4th open from 13.30 so a good afternoon worth of ring time , open all day sunday 5th- 08.00 - 19.30 so could plan a late crossing back sunday , say 8/9 ish its 4.5 hours from ring to calais so would not need to leave till 4 ish ? on the Sunday ?

Or go out on the Sat 4th rather than Friday , and head back monday , rather than Sunday , so get a full day on Sunday and steak in the eve and head back Monday at leisure ?

We will only miss two hours friday eve, If we leave early Sat AM , and aim to get the Ring for Mid-Day its open from 13.30 - 17.30 , so a good session , then open all day sunday (Happy Days) and then we max sunday and have an eve together on the beers discussing the days activities !!
Travel back Monday -- actually could look to drop in on Spa as we would have Monday free , if we book late'ish crossings ...

Im thinking this is the better option ... BUT what are your thoughts guys ?

Need to look to get Deffo im coming and commitment in the next week or two max , as the hotels will fill up quickly now the dates are out ..

So let me know by return who is 100% , so I can contact the hotel and get rooms reserved , and also if your 100% if your intending to bring a passenger , as the rooms will be twin's so cool if you have passenger to half the cost , no worries if not , just need to work out who is , and who is not so i can ensure we book the right amout

So let the plans begin ! Let me have those replies

Do you have firm dates in mind for both June/July?

I am definitely go for a June trip but i am taking part in a motorbike event in Spain for 5 days during July. Hopefully this won't conflict with the July CSL trip date - if that's the one that goes ahead.

Think that is the best option IMHO for July

Drive out Saturday 4th Early doors , to get there for 13.30 opening , and return on Monday 6th Evening and potentially , stop by Spa on the drive home (need to check opening times etc for Spa)

Not looked at June as most people wanted July , but give me 10 !
