Yeah punt the "project" Jim and get yourself the car you NEED

heck I done an 8:30 with destroyed brakes, 68,000 mile old suspension, wonky gears in "safe mode" and only my 2nd visit so with the right tools you will smash your 8min target

If you have a goal forget all these 'get a CSL' muppets and succeed in your goal of 8mins, then move on and sell the RS and buy a CK then. You can also at that point sell your Burberry cap, all white puma trainers, and panties.

its been 'upgraded' to official project status this year

8min in a csl, is a rather easier target than 8min in a focus tho! lifes not supposed to be easy!

Hmmmm - a 'standard' Focus maybe... Not your 'slightly stroked' (and somewhat light and over-braked) car!

Your FRS lacks a little in mid-range and top-end speed but which only really affects you on a couple of sections at the Ring. The rest of the time you were able to stay with me just fine on the twisty bits...
