From what's been written about it, yes yes yes.

Have you seen the video of Advevo (sp?) chasing a CSL round the Ring in one? If you watch that and don't trade, you are certifiable!

Do it!

Colour, I'm thinking black this time having done white last time.

Colour don't matter, it's pig ugly in all colours

I'd personally buy a GtR if you want pace, can be had for £30k

I'd say go for it, if you can do without the 4 doors.

Personally, I'd have to have the Orange/Red one, that just screams 1M big time.

Yes. Had one for a day from my dealer and thrashed the pants off a few at Ascari Race Resort. Best car there.

Just not into the GTR Shim but I see your point. I reckon the 1M will be more fun day to day and I don't think they're ugly.

Would have black to be a bit subtle, under the radar.

Was in Exeter last weekend and we parked up behind an orange one at the petrol station. Have to say it look the business, and sounded quite nice driving away too

If I wanted a daily runner and had the funds I'd get one in a flash

Get one, believe me you won't regret it.

How can anyone say this looks ugly?

The looks are growing on me, front on looks muscular, intimidating same at the rear. From the side the proportions look wrong. The performance with a few tweeks will be

Haven't driven an e90 m3 yet, so can't draw comparisons. I've test driven 2 1M's so far, an orange one back in June didn't really get a chance to open it up sales man wouldn't stop talking about gatzo cams in bushes which just put me off.

Recently had one more go and whilst its very quick 110mph in 3rd (don't ask how i know ) it just lacked something don't know what..

I'd go V8 personally..

It's a boy racer car and unless you are 25 it looks inappropriate in my opinion...
It's like 'socializing' with a 20 year old girl.

'Poor man's M car' it's the way BMW M sells it and the way they made it (engine from 135i, seats from 135i and the list goes on).

The E90 M3 is/feels special and the V8 engine is BMW M at it's best, with a redlimit of 8.400rpm
The 1 M has a slightly tuned N54 engine.
