This ^.

However, I would say that the value increase is a double-edged sword. I originally bought mine to use as BMW intended, but with the massive increase in value over the last five+ years, it has made me extremely selective on the events it gets used for, where when I first got it (before the values rocketed), I was happy to take it anywhere and everywhere .

I almost wish the values WOULD come back down, so that I'm not so precious about the mileage added to it ......

Nordschleife, there's only two barriers to worry about - the ones on the left and the ones on the right .

Regarding values. After doing first Trackday in csl can’t believe I enjoyed it as much as I did,, pranging it was always in my mind, Really not worrying about putting on mileage,, all running parts can be replaced , it’s just the main body Im concerned about, I’ve now got a plan definitely doing some more Trackdays,,,,Maybe a crazy idea,, in the short term pick up a cheap e46 m3 body or car and transplant the best bits, for a bit of fun track use only,,

Glad to hear your enjoyed driving the CSL on track, where they should be used keep tracking it, I do and would not change for another car as always learning what the car can do.
