Know what your saying, but is a car that is *slightly* better worth an extra £3k?? Quite abit of money that!

Thats what I keep thinking, but see if I could get the price down a bit if thats the one I end up wanting

I think it really depends on the car's condition.... I am in Australia... I checked out a couple more CSL before I bought mine (not many choice down here)...

I just bought mine about 3 months ago with 8750 miles on the clock... and when I checked out the other two before I bought mine.. there was one with only around 10,000 miles on the clock, but that car looked like it had been used for more than 60,000+ miles... the interior and the exterior conditions were really bad!!!

Buy a car based on its condition (although milage is also quite important as well) and you will not go wrong with it! Best of luck!

cheers,

richie

I initially wanted a sub 20k mile CSL but most command unrealistic premiums for what is in essence the same car as long as it's serviced by the book on time as well as all recall work having been carried out...

In the end i went for my 36k mile car rather than several lower mileage ones back in May after haggling it down to £32k in a private sale. I went for this car as it's condition inside and out was far superior to the lower mileage cars and the owner was a proper 'enthusiast' like me! Oh, and it had warranty outstanding which is a nice thing to have.

I have since put 10k miles on my car but as i plan to own it for the next 5 years, this isn't a major worry. I use my CSL for what it was designed to do and enjoy it very much indeed...!
