I used these guys (kazza-tech) on ebay.

Very professional service, sent the mirror on Monday and had it back by Friday.

for £120 I would definitely recommend them. especially if you don't want to get a soldering iron out yourself.

Quick turnaround and reasonable price by the looks of it.

My mirror is beginning to show signs of failure (irregular dimming) so need to do something soon.

I've just refitted my mirror after using this guy. The service was excellent and I would highly recommend it to anyone who thinks their mirror is on the way out.

Also just to add...he mentioned that he does a slightly discounted rate to forum members so best to mention that if you email him john [at] mirrorjohn [dot] com

The oval mirror as fitted to the CSL is no longer available (again Williams) they will fit the later model rectangular one under warranty. Good job you didn't get them to replace it!

I think I might take mine off, it has a small oval shape in the middle of the mirror? Same shape as the mirror, smack bang in the middle about 50mm, maybe a bit less across. I put some plastic bags round it before it went in the carcoon. Feeling I should take it off just in case.

Covered but left the f-ing thing in the car. I didn't think it would melt the plastic and thought plastic bags would do
