Having been to see this car and speaking to professionals who were offered it and declined it, anyone considering this would be very wise to get a professional inspection first....

I asked multiple times if it had been in an accident and was told no every time.

Considering it’s a one owner car and if the owner is to believed then I can only assume someone at the factory took it off the production line and threw it against the walls like a rag doll before delivery...likely story.

The evidence speaks for itself and is undeniable.

That’s not to say it’s not still worth strong money as they sure as hell are not making any more of these, but whoever buys it should understand fully what they are buying.

To add insult to injury no apology for giving false information or wasting my time either.

Hi,, Shame you had to travel, only to find what you suspected.id put money on there’s been a good few sold in the past, with information missing in the description. As I’ve always said shiny paintwork means nothing. Personally I’d only consider a 15 year old £50k car if I could view with all panels removable removed, wings sills bumpers wheels off etc. If seller is not prepared to allow this ,walk away , this could only be good for a genuine car and seller,, I personally wouldn’t have a problem doing this for a genuine buyer

Really! I mean really really?

If someone rocked up to buy my car and started requesting I take front wings and side skirts off I’d be giving them a funny look. I’d go along with taking wheels off or perhaps finding a ramp so you could take a look underneath. But pulling body panels off? That would raise my time waster alarm.

Hi, for a genuine buyer absolutely no problem , not typical tyre kicker, If somebody willing to spend 40-50 k what’s the problem couple of hrs taking bits and bobs off ,, pre arranged 2nd visit cash hand ,these cars are fairly old now some have been thrashed and bashed around tracks etc, So buyer want to know what they’re buying, personally I’d expect nothing less, if nothing to hide what’s the problem... il stick my neck out a say a car that’s been looked after and “properly” maintained by enthusiasts will now be in better condition overall than one that gets just an annual service at the average Indy or dealers,

Would you view a 1M or M2 at the same money and request the panels to be taken off ?

Ramp inspection is sufficient.

Removing panels is a bit excessive.
