Default Garage queen

Think Csl could becoming a garage queen. Just booked this years mot for 7th April and checked mileage only done 2000miles last twelve months, what's owners veiws on not using them,as far as increasing in value, or have they now reached a peak, or sould we just bang on the miles, and they increase in value anyway

interesting subject, mine is doing sub 5k miles per year now. I thought mileage was the be all and end all (hence why my CSL will not be worth as much as others, but apparently I am told that as cars get much older like 15-20 years old plus, people buy much more on condition than mileage unless they are ultra low miles examples (another reason why my CSL will not be worth as much as others)

Never know when your time is up..whether it's 1000 or 10,000 miles a year..don't ever feel guilty about doing whatever you want to your car.

Bought mine to drive a long time before the values started increasing so the plan is to keep using it. Knowing there is still some value in it is a big bonus.

About 210 miles last Monday to the coast & back. Majority on B roads with no dual carriage ways.

Average miles / condition will stay flat on price imo.

My advice is drive it to fook and if you want to get out of it, wait until 2028 and flog it to the yanks for whatever the market value is (north of current) when the 25 year old import rule relaxes.

Only helpful for people under 60 though, so advice to Shim and Trawler is enjoy it while you can

Exactly, especially before every car is fitted with a device that automatically sends out a fine for driving more than 40. I'm not joking there is a straight road that I remember was 60 & is now 30. Total madness. 50 was what everybody drove at on Monday.

And before you say it Ian it wasn't 60 before you were born.
