Default CSL Wheel Refurb

Hi all

Quick Q, looking for some advice for getting my wheels sorted. They were black and are now enameled in grey / silver, but as they were not in great condition when they were stripped back they are a bit orange peely, and flat.

so the questions.

1. How are the standard wheels finished, as in painted and lacquered or enameled and baked etc
2. What actual colour should the be.
3. Can anyone recommend a provider from actual experience.

cheers in advance

John

Talk to Chris at Excel wheels. He will be able to answer your questions and sort you out with a loan set too.

lepsons are very highly recommended with a reasonable turn round time.

Try a thread search for the oem wheel colour, it's on here somewhere.

Another for Lepsons here.
Had the CSL's done a couple of years ago and still look good (even with my lack of cleaning) and just received my S8 rims back from them for a factory fresh refurb.

Lepsons currently have a promotion on - free courier service provided.
The nearest colour they have available to OEM finish, is 'Chrome Silver'

Chris at Exel uses Lepsons. He basically provides a service where he will come to you, put a set of loan wheels on, then get yours refurbed and swap them over again. The car isn't off the road and it is really easy. I had a problem with one 18 montgs after the refurb, he picked them up and re-did them. Good old fashioned customer service.
