It does come unpainted... i know for a fact
Also no accessoires are included (grill, rubber seal, flaps) so you have to buy them in addition.

At least the fact it's 3 grand probably stops the cutters buying them all up...

Mine was bought some 5 years ago, was painted and did include everything (grills, seals, flippers, etc.). It's still in the BMW box untouched from that day. So maybe they used to provide them like this but don't any longer.

Thats interesting to know, alex.
Do you remember how much it cost back then? I know couple years ago it was about half the price, it is now.

I can't remember exactly but fairly sure it was around £2,200 + VAT.

Reasonable price considering its for a full new front. Just checked the prices and complete new front with accessoires and paint would cost you around £4000 incl. VAT.

Either the manufacturer has changed/increased their prices or its just BMW wants to cash in.

Just found the invoice. I was out a bit, £2750+VAT but still well cheaper than today. Quite a good investment sat in the box, untouched. I say investment but I kind of won it off the insurance company.

don't even entertain a rep bumper - photos below speak for themselves of rep vs. oem

flippers wrong shape / air dam in the wrong place / poor fit / etc

there is a german company that do a very good rep (in carbon too) for about £1700 though

bloody non CSL owners buying up genuine parts
