From my first drive on Dunlop 03g on the road, mixed conditions from cold I'd say they are better than cups. Had grip straight away, didn't feel heavy and was able to push harder.

At Snetterton on Wednesday so will probably rain.

They look bloody awesome on the car.

I now have a new set of Cup 2s in CSL sizes mounted.
I will do a scientific comparison between original CSL Cup and Cup 2 at Anneau du Rhin and Monza.

The Cup 2 is certainly wider and sitting wider in the rims.

If you're on 18s, the Dunlops are even better than normal Cups grip wise anyway (noisier though, but if for track use, you won't notice)

We used 18inch pDunlop’s on the E46 race car and they worked really well. I have two used sets I’m about to sell if anybody wants them, Both sets have some decent life left and one set only used in one race

Just bought a set in OEM CSL sizes. Will provide road feedback when they are fitted. Unlikely that I will do track any time soon.
