I Think good ones are £40K so same issue. I don't have that deep of a pocket, wife, house and pets have to come first for a change. Hence sensible thing is old E46 SMG and a E92 Diesel estate, but I'm finding it hard to come to terms with.

As you say, you could always buy a cheap SMG M3 and build your own replica like this one.

Just purchased one of those myself, 330d Msport Touring, 138k, 56 plate.. Mint for the year and miles £6k !

Just had it re-mapped and its an epic Q car.

Keeping the miles off the C63 too.

Who did your CSL go too in the end?

Lol, love these 'I miss the CSL' posts

E92 M3 can be had for reasonable money now

Yup, yup and I guess yup.

From my perspective, It made sense to get rid at xmas for financial reasons, but oddly it didn't make financial sense to buy another one, but here I find myself.

Cars are an emotive thing, and after 6 months away I released how much I missed the overall experience of the CSL, let alone just looking at her on the drive.

The V8 was an epic car, but ended up that the only special thing it did was be Yellow! So once that wore off, it was like so, now what??

My missus just upgraded from a E46 330ci to a E90 335i vert, 306 bhp and 295 ft/lbs of torques and a 7 speed DCT transmission certainly quick, next best thing to an M3 ?
