Sponsorship for 600 Superstock has come through!!

Excuse the bike post here but didn't know where else to post it - think we should have a bike section really

Following up on a post I did below in another thread:

We also sponsored a young lad we know on a Honda RS125 - he had never ridden a bike before so my husband has taught him. He raced last year in the Rookie 600s at Bemsee and today we are waiting to find out if he has secured sponsorship from a Swiss Bank - if so, then we are getting two 08 R6's and he will be racing in the MRO Superstock for this year. If the money doesn't come up, we will be out in March in our 06 R6 superstock bike.

I am over the moon to say that the sponsorship has come up trumps from this swiss bank!!

Tomorrow we will be going to look for a new van to replace the old banger, a new caravan to replace the 1970's one we bought for £160 off of Ebay and then off to buy this

then take it to Phil Seton to be tuned for the superstock class!!

Excited isn't the word! Have been waiting for this opportunity a long time. If I could drink beer, I would be having a few tonight

Will keep you updated of progress if anyone is interested

In this current climate, we really didn't think the money would be forthcoming and it has taken ages to get the confirmation and we were thinking it wasn't going to happen.

Will indeed keep you posted with dates and put them on this thread! If you are ever nearby one of the tracks, come for a spectate - we may be able to stretch to a sarnie and beer for you lol !!

A great weekend - shame about the poxy rain and hail this afternoon, but then it is Britain! Gratuitous shots of a freshly washed CSL...
