I have heard. To get it on the 'cheap' £80pm you need to take the policy before 60k, with my new mileage, in 2 years I will be over 60k before my current warranty expires?
Yes it does go up after 60k miles.

Not sure whether the CSL is the best bet really, more from an increased mileage pov. I am keen to retain as much value in the car as possible, and would rather put 6000 miles on enjoying the car, rather than trudging up and down the M5/M6. The plan was always to enjoy the car for 12 months, and then be able to move it on, still sub 50k with 12 months AUC warranty, the extra mileage would put it at about 55/56k as of August next year. (currently on 47k)

I would be loathed to sell, as it is simply the best car I have ever owned, both in terms of ability and condition.

I am being rather grumpy about the whole thing tbh.

Since your main concern here is putting unnecessary (commuter) mileage on the CSL, rent a mid size Dieseasal hack for the " 500 mile a day, 12 times a year " scenario.
Whoever is making you do this insane 500 miles a day commute could maybe contribute towards the costs of the before mentioned Dieseasal hack ?

I know it's not the best time of year but it's my 30th in Feb and wanted to treat myself to something new before then!!

I'm building an E30 track car with an M50 2.5L engine in at the moment so next car doesn't have to be as track focussed. Looking at a GT-R or 997 C2S with an Aerokit. Driving both on Saturday so be interesting to see how they fair against the CSL!!
