Hi,

Quote-

''Do me a favour. Change the rear spoiler with the original's Sport Evo... Thanks a lot!''

Hi Loaded, what, so its slower ?

The Car was built to perform, not appear in glossy Mags.

The ''ITC'' rear wing provides very good rear down force
without the enormus 'drag' of the EVO Sport rear spoiler
fitted with Flap.

Regards,

The Gorilla.

Hi Gorilla. My friend i didn't tell it to put it in glossy Mags, but in my opinion i believe that the rear spoiler with the flap in the maximum position can provide a lot of downforce but i can not imagine how much of it compared with the ITC..

always friendly

Hi,

Loaded- I was not arguing, just pointing
out that in 93/94 and thereafter, where the rules allowed
most E30 M3' s and the Merc EVO's ran the ITC
rear wing as it gives better downforce with less
drag.

If you look at the designs you will see how this
is achieved.

The Evo Sport rear spoiler with the extended Gurney
flap, there are 2 versions, creates something like
11% more drag than downforce.

So your slowing the car down to make rear end
downforce.

Regards,

The Gorilla.

Hi,

Are you talking about the ''Meisle'' 190
with the Judd F1 Engine ?

His rear wing has somewhat grown over the
years, bit like a an ''ITC' on stilts.

http://www.garage-meisel.ch/index.php?id=19

He has a Judd engine just like Georg Plasa
use to have in his E36, but now runs
a BMW 1 series with the engine.

The link below gives a fascinating insight to
the development and build of the car.

http://www.134judd.com/fahrzeug.html

This is the Georg Plasa E36 in action.

Here is the E36, and the 1 Series is rummored
to be a lot quicker.

Regards,

The Gorilla.

Hi,

Glendog- its another world just wish
I could find it.

Loaded- I think you might have seen
Markus Westefeld.

His Evo 2 was Blue / Grey and it has been
uprated to a full Klasse 1 spec this
year, now painted Black and White in
the Sonax livery.

This clip is on board when it was Evo 2.

Its a very quick Car, which has just got a lot quicker
with the full upgrade to Klasse 1 specification.

Regards,

The Gorilla.
