Question Battery Light comes on at High Revs?

My battery light was coming on today at high revs, about over 6500RPM when I was flooring it. It would stay on during the whole time I was over that rev range, then when I came off the throttle would stay on for a further 1-2 seconds then go away.

Everytime I floored it again and approached 6000+ RPM then same thing would happen...

Any ideas on this? Its kinda making me worried...

Alternator on its way out. The light will come on more with time.

Belt slipping,or alternator on the way out,if the light starts coming on more and more its fooked, and could leave you stranded in the middle of no where.Best get it looked at sooner rather than later.

Just get it booked in and get them to change the alternator, especially if it's under warranty.
