Default Door seals

Is anyone else waiting on E46 rubber door seals? The guy I purchased a Csl from had been waiting for several months for them to come in before I got the car and still no delivery date from BMW.

My Cesil is in hibernation, however I've noticed that the driver's door seal was separating from the 'A' pillar/roof, perhaps I'll have to order one for spring when he emerges.

Thank you for easing my pain Neil. Someone did tell me they thought BMW where changing suppliers due to the large amount of seal failures they had encountered, no idea if this is true but there doesn't appear to be any available anywhere. I shall try to get some more info from Elms but spring could be hopeful.

This is my favourite topic. I've had two sets of door seals on my Cesil and at this time of year, it's perfect for them to fail. All you need to do is open the door with a tiny bit of ice around and pffft, there it goes. The seals on my previous E46 M3 also failed.

Elms supplied mine both times and I didn't have to wait long.

Its easy to stick it back on if its not burst
Use some tiger bond on the part fitted to the frame then pop the rubber back into place and pop some masking tape to hold it

This is a very common E46 Coupe (318 Ci included) issue due to the frame-less door design but as said before can be permanently repaired if you have some DIY skills.
