Generally they are / were. Not too long ago (2-3 years) I remember an Oz one going for about AUD 110k, at a time when a uk prices were GBP 20k - 30k (20k being a 200,000 miler, 30k being mint sub 30,000 miles). There was money to be made exporting, even if a UK one fetched less in Oz.

Times have changed, Oz prices have dropped, UK prices have risen, and the AUD has dropped about 20% relative to the pound. Current prices seem on par with Hexagon prices.

If you compare Oz CSL prices to E46 or E91 M3 prices, the CSL is currently seriously under appreciated. If the V8 driving bogans don't wake up one day people will start exporting the Oz ones which would be sad.

Can I be rude and asked what you got for yours? SG I assume? Aussie or import?
It was an Aussie model, SG, no accident history and very well maintained (I went through the trouble of replacing all hoses on it, upgrading oil cooler, brakes (pads, fluid steel braided lines) and RTABs. PM for price.

Brandtner, did yours stay in WA or go interstate?
