Cold air intake pipe keeps coming off
As per the title really, the cold air intake that bypasses the flap and comes from the front bumper keeps coming away, is it supposed to be a push fit or is there a clip missing somewhere?
...should also have said that it comes away from the connection under the airbox... Last edited by estoril; 06-06-2015 at 08:20 PM. |

From memory mine was a push on, it would be damn hard to tighten a clip in situ. |

Do you mean the lower air intake pipe that clips to the front bumper with 2 plastic clips. Accessible through NS carbon flipper?

No, it's the other end, in the engine bay where the pipe meets the carbon fibre air box. It looks like it supposed to be a push fit but I have put it back a couple of times and it just comes off again.

Arh that one. It will go back on but requires a lot of force and bravery !!! It's got a rib around the plastic pipe that go's onto the carbon. It's a knuckle graizer
