That's why I took my passenger seat, bonnet, carpet, rear seats, speakers, stereo, battery and backbox off, just to balance it out a bit

Ya cnut!

I got it fitted today. Im fully stock except for this backbox.

Fitment was done in about 35mins, had some problems with the alignment as you can see from the pictures... One sticks out slightly further than the other and sits a little more towards the inner part of the car.
I might have to drill another mounting hole for the exhaust hangers to get it to fight right, anyone experienced this?

On to the sound! Its much louder when going through town, people hear you coming from quite far off even when youre not in sport mode 4000+ revs.

On the highway, while cruising, the exhaust sound takes over any other engine noise that was heard when stock, such as slight intake noise and road noise etc...

It drones quite heavily at 1700-2400 RPM on a high gear going uphill.

When you're on the throttle though, its awesome

You feel a vibration coming through the seat as you floor it, and when it mixes with the intake sound its very nice =D

Downshifts are sooo much better too... Very satisfying

Overall, quite happy with it, have yet to give it a proper full throttle run down the roads, and also the noise will change and improve as I add miles on....

On to the (iPhone) pics... Video soon hopefully
looking good mate, shame I took one of these off and sold it LOL! Can I have my plate back also please!!!

I've (already) got a nagging urge to get a full Supersprint...prospect of less weight and EVEN MORE NOISE is seriously tempting. Think I'd want to go sport cats too tho (know that's a whole can of worms from other threads in terms of yes/no/maybe 'extra power'!)

lol @ Nova...years ago I had the SURREAL experience of a Nova (obviously HUGELY tuned with turbo/nitrous etc) managing to keep up with me between around 50 and 140mph...I was in a (stock) 1988 911 Carrera Sport Targa (and was giving it everything it had...lol) past 140 the aerodynamics took over and I pulled away (up to around 160 when it started wibbling and I backed off...rather than TAKE OFF lol). Seemed bonkers at the time, but with only 230odd HP I guess it wasn't a big stretch to keep up with...big grins all round when we exited the (ummmmm) AUTOBAHN

Think I'm going to have to listen to a few types on real cars (not Youtube lol) before deciding what to do...

I wouldnt mind more noise if it wasnt for the trackday regulations!

I love this backbox!!! Sounds very different when warm.
