First i glue it back, But after a few days the glue let loosen.
(price is for the complete edge protection, I think the price is ok)

£180 was IMHO a tad pricey. But there was a lot of flex in the rails, enough to lift 40cm of gaffer tape.
The glue I'd previously tried lifted and they quoted me £600 fior two new rails,including paint.
My liftt was quite noticeable

The clips are bonded on when the roof is installed with resin

You can get the wurth sealer they use for the sump gaskets to stick the trims back down.

Easy job

I've had 3 E46 M3s (one of them my current CSL) and all 3 of them have had this problem with the window seals. Elms glued them once for a very cheap price (just £50 labour, I think) but ultimately they came loose again. The fix I used is to buy some strong rubber bonding glue and some small fixing clamps, glue them up, clamp them and leave them overnight. Never came loose again.

I used some similar epoxy. Fixed after 2 attempts. With regards to the side trim, used that window sealant stuff. Need to have some scotch tape to hold it in place for a few days. Was driving around like a zebra
