oh wow, that's mental, I mean why? Why have a car like the CSL and do that to it without driving it, was it investment, did he like taking cars apart and cleaning (is he OCD -if so I'm in Kent come on down). Looks great so the buyer, what is he going to do with it? I guess I'm not on the same wavelength here but I'm sure someone is going to explain it to me

I think it's just what he likes to do. Loves the prep work and didn't especially want to drive it. Me, if I can't drive it I don't want it. Be boring if we were all the same.

I agree with Eric... it's mental to own a CSL and not drive it. Talk about self restraint I couldn't do it. Cars are made to be used, it's their primary purpose, to transport us around. What a waste of a car

its bloody good business tho,i bought that car for 37 k a few years ago and sold it for 59 and a half this year ,was gonna go down the porsche rs route and have some trackday fun with some of the fairies on here ,but low and behold another csl came up with 5k on the clock, with an absolutely spotless interior,so im doing the same again ,bought it for 25k ,3 people already want to put a deposit on if it turns out like the last one ,which it will so hey presto ,ive got wind of an rs200 with below 1k on the clock coming up after winter so i may have a go for that.
thanks for the nice emails and comments from those who got in touch ,and as for the comment that started this thread from a certain trader lol,uve got more chance of nailing blancmange to ur ceiling than having a csl as nice as the one i sold

Fair enough comment about it being good business if indeed that is your business . Seems U've done very well (financially) out of it but you still missed out on the CSL driving experience, especially with that "AS New" M3 CSL driving experience Each to their own

Very good business, although I think if I was in the market for that kind of thing then I'd prefer it without those modifications, but that's just me. Clearly someone didn't mind and if it did fetch the rumoured £50k plus then respect! Job well done. That's only £9k less than what I paid, but mine was much lower mileage than this one
