first time I've seen the 2 together, both look great, surprised by the similarity of size

I'd like to hear of the similarities of the two also as had a call about a cancelled order for a white one yesterday and it really has me thinking of chopping the CSL in for one.

Couple of things put me off...
Interior is nothing special compared to the CSL.
Noise...I'll miss the induction roar
Residual value of the 1M.
And of course, the Size. lol

The car has a very surprising induction roar that I didn't expect and I dare say (fingers crossed) there will hopefully be a good aftermarket induction system soon to give it that little bit more.

Interior is very comfy and although not as "sporty" as the CSL it is well put together with plenty alacantra etc.

Size wise is about as close to the CSL as you can get (i dont notice it any smaller than the csl inside and out)

Handling of the car is bloody great but you would expexct that with the newer M3 chassis just squashed down a tad.

Residual value I would expect to be very good, I dare say it will loose £10k over the next few years but if the miles are kept low it should easily be in the low 30s (like the csl) in years to come.

All of the 450 UK allocations are now sold and there wont be another run of them which is a good thing.

For me the tuning potential for minimal cost is very appealing (400+BHP with a good remap and exhaust)

If any is up my way and wants a closer look etc, just give me a shout.

Bradley

Oh quit, I had myself talked out of it but now thinking along your lines with mapping and nice exhaust to give more accoustic delights!
The cancelled order was white too, Black leather and orange stitching! Sounds lovely and yours looks class.
