Made it to the top
Well guys, joined my first ship yesterday as Captain and sailed last night out into the Deep South Atlantic with full tanks of fuel, FW, Provisions and fresh crew.
All I can say is, "It feels GOOD!"  Down side, still have over 4 weeks to go. At least the weather might be better when I get home in march.

Congratulations - Well done you. It must be a bit intimidating, your first trip as skipper and a new crew to get to know, fortunately there will be plenty of time to do that before you reach port!
