I was looking for a track day car in 2013 after selling my boxster spyder.
Always regretted selling that but I wanted something safer to do track days in with a proper roof.
Lo and behold a csl came up with 67k miles but a fully weld in cage, proper suspension mods, stripped out interior, spg recaros and all round APs so I took the plunge.
AT the time I was a manual shift only kind of guy, the CSL changed my opinion of SMG and I never looked back. It's a veritable workhorse on track and I look forward to many more years of trackdays in it. Too bad I don't see other CSls on track nowadays.
Mine gets out at least once a year but only to Europe
