AST did it at their place in Holland, they use Eibach springs as do most, from what I was told. They get them in and paint there colour depending on if it's going out at AST or Moton.
I had a trip over and they did it all whilst I was there

Answering your question, no it wasn't like this when I bought it, but AST rebuilt and changed them.

Yep intrax also use EIbach labelled springs
