Default Oil Level help please

Just wanted to check that on the in-dash level indicator anything between +0.1L and +1.0L was safe and OK to run as an oil level please?

Previously to me service the car always read +1.0L but I've checked it since the 170 odd miles home from Murkett's and it now reads +0.4L, is this still ok or do I need to top it up and if so how much oil takes it back to +1.0L

Thanks

often after a service it reads half full as they put standard volume of oil in and dont necessarily check levels i think

Ive found that 0.6/0.7 is bang on perfect on the dipstick,

So 0.4 will fine, dont worry
