Default KW Clubsports

Hi all. I had KW Clubsport suspension fitted yesterday.

The Clubsports are a development of the tried and tested KW V3 suspension, the main differences being that the Clubsports have a stiffer spring rate and come with adjustable top mounts as standard - designed with track use in mind.

Initially i have the settings set to the middle whilst i see how i get on with them. The kit also drops the car by around 30mm once it has settled down a little.

I was worried that the kit would be too harsh for everyday driving but so far i am very impressed. Even on their middle settings, it feels very similar to the OEM CSL suspension for comfort levels.

OEM suspension:

Let me know once you get some decent track settings on them and i'll give them a go

I'm still using the ones Daz gave me and haven't tried anything else.

Will be interesting to see what its like at Donny and Oulton next month!

I bought a set of 12mm spacers yesterday too so will stick them on the fronts and put the 10mm ones on the rears

Will do mate, although they may be slightly different to yours as you are on V3s?

I had Clubsport suspension on my old M3 which was excellent when set up properly, the only thing I didn't like, and only found out later on, was that it doesn't have a warranty as it's a purely track based kit?? Anyone else found this out?

Find that hard to believe, I know if there were any issues they would be able to sort... speaking from experience of KW and there set up and team in general.

Did you encounter any issues then ? If so what ?

I didn't have any problems with my Clubsport kit, but only had it on the car for a couple of months, but I could understand why a company wouldn't cover warranty on a piece of kit that is going to have the life hammered out of it on a track! They could effectively be replacing the components forever!! Although I could be wrong, just relaying what I had been told.
