Thanks for the info re RHD cars there were definately 24 that came to Australia.

As this car is supposedly unrestricted.....haven't had that confirmed by BMW yet, what does that mean the likely top speed is now instead of the 155mph???
The clocks will tell you 180/185 MPH ... a GPS device will be more accurate and read 168 MPH - 173 MPH as the manual gauges in the car tend to over read by quite a margin at that speed.

Uh ... yes Rich ... that would be me... about 3 seconds before the fookin big ends blew !!!

Last time at Ring F/O down the Dottinger in a limited Black motor, speedo was bang on 155, GPS read 149, and MattCSLnutt was wondering wtf I was slowing up for !

The most i have had to date so far is 169mph on GPS (180mph on speedo) and there is clearly still some extra 'go' left in the car but have never had the road space to try for more!

I think 170-175 is realistic. More to the point, that's enough isn't it? How many times will we have the chance?
