Thanks so much, I've still got many idea's running through my head about what to do with the car. I'm thinking breaking it for bits might be the best idea, cut my losses then try and find another CSL or maybe dedicate an e36 for track use.

Orrrrrr.... CSL engines E30 with SMG!! - Must stop putting idea's into my own head.

seems really difficult, cause you have to keep all sensors/wiring loom from the E46.....or choose a new management system for the engine, but i know there is no after market management system for the smg gearbox, so ........a challenge anyone ??

You'd get a fair bit if you broke it, though obviously it depends on how much you get it for in the first place!

Front seats seem to be 2k, all door cards about 1k, wheel 200-400, centre console about 500... list goes on!

What state is it in at the moment then?
