Default Headlining removed now alarm and key won't work? Ideas!

Have done a quick search and cant seem to find any info on this, removed the headlining today in preparation for the CSL roof, but seems the key and alarm do not work now when you press the lock or unlock button on the key?

I have reconnected the dome thingy in the middle of the roof on the inside apparently this is the sensor? But still no luck.

Removed and fitted everything with the battery disconnected as well.

Any body with any ideas? Maybe I need to reprogram the key but can t remember the procedure?

Sorry, can't help much as my car already had a CSL roof when i bought it...!

Seriously though, might be worth looking at m3cutters, bimmerforums, etc as there will be a wealth of M3 info there.

ah I see? I wonder which one it is? Thought that might have been it, but when I tried putting those two white boxes back yesterday it made no difference. Maybe will try again or maybe need to get it recoded?

I think it must be part number 2 in this diagram? But its listed under audio navigation equipment? But says it's for cars with radio remote control? Assume that's the alarm remote?

No idea, just know that my central locking doesn't work either and it was when I removed all of that stuff from the car.
