official standard CSL time for full ring (not BTG) is 7m 50s

Done on a closed test session and driven by a professional driver who knows the Ring very well i would imagine.

A full lap adds around 20 seconds or so to the equivalent BTG time due to the extra bit of straight. That in theory would make the official CSL time of 7:50 a 7:30 BTG (approx). A few of us 'non-professional' drivers on here manage (albeit with better non-standard brakes) around the 8 minute BTG lap mark so i don't understand how you seem so surprised at that full lap time of 7:50 using a professional driver - it's only 30 seconds faster after all, over a distance of 22.8km.

I was suprised as I knew barely any of the above information barring the time, also didn't know it was a full lap as you all quote BTG

Never the less, I'd like another go at it one day soon, just need some more cups now!

Ooooft, this took some catching up there. Not having internet in my new home is proving a nightmare, but now I am back at sea, it should be ok to keep up-to-date with proceedings, lol
