Default Shiney exhausts

Hi all
Juts a quick question, did the CSL come with exhaust tips that were shiny/chrome look? ive seen a few pics of them on here that are but looking at mine, there black, lol, tried cleaning them but no evidence of shinynes..

Autosol or Autoglym metal polish mate and a load of hard fingering... Depending on how long its been since they were last done, it might take a wee while but when they shine, they damn shine!

Sorry, they are Chromed aye, AFAIK.

actually they are stainless steel so with effort they are satin finish and not shiney chrome

its stainless steel so wire wool will do a better job (unless you have a Milltek)

James, go and do me a favour and wait for a couple of other opinions before you use wire wool. I think it might be alright on the inside to remove the heavier carbon then some polishing with Autosol etc, but the outside DOES come up VERY WELL with a bit of effort and I can't help but feel if you go at it with wire wool, you might end up loosing the shiny-ness you so desire. I used Autosol on my standard exhaust before I got the Milltek, and it done the job no bother.
