I sold a metallic blue 10V to buy a M3 gt LHD. I also loved it but thought the gt a huge improvement in enjoyment.

I sold this.

I had really liked the E46 M3 for many years, I enjoyed the convertible but fancied a change, so I bought the CSL. I also bought this for the summer as I liked having a convertible so much, I'm getting it on the road now.

It is the 3l straight six. It has just had all of the bodywork sorted out and a coolant flush and refill. I am now changing fuel oil and air filters, oil, transmission fluid, diff oil, power steering fluid, spark plugs and leads. Basically giving it a 'proper' service before it is put in to service. I suspect some of these fluids will have been in for the last 25 years. It is a September 1989 cars so one of the last made, currently on just under 100k miles. There are a few jobs which need doing on it but I'm mainly going to use it for getting to work and back and top down journeys in the summer. I would have been happy with a V8 or the straight 6, it was more a case of which one was in good condition and at the right price.
