Just a thought to make it easy for the hull love boat crew. Arranging a time to all meet on board at Langan's restaurant/brass gaff is easiest surest way we all meet up.

Well I'll probably head from Dublin to Holyhead, then straight over to Hull and meet up with whoever else is going from there

Niall, Shane, Barry - presume you'll probably want to do the same? We could look into getting some sort of group-booking discount through Stena or Irish Ferries maybe

Are we aiming to get to Munich earlier on the Friday or just for the Saturday? Stop off on way down somewhere?

I'll probably be heading over to Stranraer then onto Hull - Rotterdamn. I done the Hull -Rott from Scotland and it's handy enough. Saves driving all the way through England and there'll be enough of us from Ireland, Scotland, Northern England and maybe Wales to make it a bit of craic if nothing else.

The overnight ferry can be a bit of a laugh for sure, get on board early enough for some beverages and nosh and you're flying... or floating as the case may be.

Default Doing the M62 Route?

Road Works Ahead - Don't forget gents there are 15mls of road works on the 62 with a speed limit of 50mph. which is being strictly imposed around Wakefield (Jct's. 25 to 27) by the 52 speed cameras that have been deployed for our convenience.

These works are not scheduled for completion until 2014, so delays are more than likely We don't want the Highways Agency getting a CSL revenue stream - do we?

Woops. I came through them in a hurry for Liverpool last month. The ticket's are probably in the post to the previous owner..

@ Jeff. Hollyhead and M62 on is probably the easiest route. I presume we'd need to overnight from Hull then on the Friday.

Yep, sounds like a plan Niall. There's the Stena ferry that gets into Holyhead from Dublin at 11:50 on Friday morning

Is Rotterdam to Munich realistic in a day?
